On Blooming Series

Since 2014, I’ve been taking flower portraits and writing essays about flowers. I wanted to tie together my ancestries, but also celebrate the generative cycle that reveals itself through plants, especially flowers. While I have a growing collection of flower images, twelve were selected and paired with an essay as part of a subscription postcard art series.

I’ve slowly been working on a book of all the images I’ve made in the last decade of flowers in my back gardens from around the world. You can sign up to my monthly mailing list for the latest info on these and other projects.
